Tropical Green Smoothie

The American Heart Association recommends that fruits and vegetables should come first in your diet and even has a section on their website filled with heart-healthy and wallet-friendly recipes!

The Tropical Green Smoothie is the perfect addition to your daily routine. This smoothie includes a mixture of fruits and vegetables making it heart healthy!


1 tablespoon flax seeds

1 cup coconut water

1 teaspoon honey

1 orange

¾ cup frozen mango chunks

½ banana

2, about 1-ounce handfuls of spinach

Ice (until consistency you like)


1. Blend coconut water, spinach, and honey in a blender.

2. Add fruit to blender and blend until smooth.

3. Add ice until it has reached your desired consistency.
